Let Nigerians succeed to have their suggestions in improving the practice of efficiencies implemented. These increments add up in the picture of progress.

I can give personal examples in USA, to show how the country can benefit from listening to skilled professional advice from its own people that actually came freely. While swimming in the high cost of debt, and of paying professionals for analyses, do not forget the words of those who are thinking about making the place better, and who are providing the useful advice for free, without waiting to be paid before they engage their minds, for the sake of themselves, their families, their relatives, their friends, of the entire country, or of whatever was the source of the motivation of the kind advice. Let the information flow, and be agile in implementation.

Here are my own examples:

In 2016-2017, as an Uber driver, I informed my passengers that the tollbooths can be replaced with just the camera systems. I reasoned that the camera system, for capturing, and for billing by license plate, of the cars that did not pay and that did not have a transponder was already developed. I reasoned that the gain in efficiency through the automatic electronic billing and transactions would be higher traffic flow, instead of what was gained when only a fraction of drivers pass through using a transponder to automatically pay. One day, I happened to carry a government official on highway I90, in MA, USA. I explained the same to him, and I told him that the propagation of the backing up of traffic was more and more becoming like a long rod stretching for miles, and that rod can simply flow by if the tollbooths were removed. Soon after, there was major construction deleting the physical payment tollbooths of highway I90. Drivers can now pass through without being hampered by others trying to physically pay, and without even needing a transponder. Their license plates get billed, accordingly.

I warned that elections can be overrun by illegal immigrants granted quick access to voting for vote padding, and for tilting the entire country into choosing contrary to its laws and rules and knowledge about truth, justice, and oppression, domestically, and in foreign policy. I pointed to the nonsense happening in Nigerian voting system, and also warned against being nonchalant and allowing elections fraud and outright elections violence, succeed to manipulate the elections result. I reminded them that this knowledge was not even college degree knowledge, but what they should know by high-school level and honest reasoning with the truth. Now, observe the speeches of USA governors, of Elon Musk, of President Trump, concerning protecting the USA voting system.

During winter seasons, I observed several car accidents at intersections, while a student at WPI. As an Uber driver, I also saw how cars approached intersections, to make a turn on a snow packed road. I commented in my conversations that extra emphasis should be made in clearing and salting and sanding the turns and intersections, in order to provide traction, as that would improve safety, and reduce the cost to insurance companies, who would end up paying lots of money during accident claims. Now, intersections are receiving greater care.

As I drove on the highway, returning from work in Amazon, during the time of heavy snow blizzard, I stayed behind a snow plow that was plowing the snow, and distributing salt. The driver's behavior indicated that he/she did not like having my car driving behind. But, I remained behind, remembering all the ghastly accidents I observed during my time as an Uber driver. Soon after, whenever there was a blizzard, there was a row of snow plows covering all the highway lanes, and with the traffic behind them, instead of them allowing the traffic to ignore the dangerous blizzard conditions ahead and just pass them.

Let them put God fearing securities people in all Nigeria bandaries not people who love money more than human beings.

The only solution to insecurity in Nigeria is for the federal government to convene the national conference. We need to revisit the 1914 amalgamation of Northern and Southern Nigeria. The amalgamation document is in archive in public library in the UK. There is a clause” that the two parties need to assess the merger after 100 years”. The federal government has spent billions of naira in fighting insurgency since 1999. We cannot continue like this as a nation if we want the development of our infrastructure.

Hausa /Fulani are hiding under religion to perpetrate evil in Nigeria. I was an eyewitness to the killings of Bassa people in Toto Local Government of Nasarawa State in 1997. I was shuttling between Nasarawa State and the FCT during my service year because of the crisis., I stayed in Abaji. Based on my findings, I learnt that the Bassa (Gwari) are predominantly hard-working farmers. They are Christians and their attackers are Muslims. The crisis normally starts during the harvesting period.

The Federal government needs to ban open grazing in the country. In a situation where Fulani herdsmen feed their cows with crops from their host farms is unacceptable. It is a fact that Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram are the same people. This madness reached a peak point in 2014. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) needs to document all these killings that started in Niger State, that has now spread to Plateau State and Benue State and send the documents to President Donald Trump. The United States government can force the UK to ensure the National Conference in Nigeria takes place. The US government can also intervene in the crisis by imposing a 50% tariff on UK goods..

Plateau state never had 'communal clashes' it was always a deliberate genocidal attacks. There has been no political will to say the truth before.

@joeonuh April 27, 2025 - 11:27 pm

A country where politicians spend millions/billions of Naira to buy votes so they can win an election . You expect them to come and work for Nigeria/ Nigerians or for themselves and their families ? We are just wasting our time complaining about governors , senators etc.We are addressing the problems from the top . Nigerian democracy is designed for corruption . I said that because how is it possible that in every government there is always corruption why is the next government not blocking the loop holes so there is no more stealing of government funds ? like i said serving your country and your people is a very difficult job. So why are Nigerian politicians spending billions to win an election to serve their people and Nigeria. until we look into this rotten system Nigeria will collapse soon . Because it looks like survival of the fittest at moment .

The man who could not mention names of the persons who blocked the purchase of satellites for the good of Nigeria, like a bird is mentioning names of CPC bloc members. More interested in the politics of the poisonous APC than the success of the country.

@jahudini April 27, 2025 - 11:27 pm

The Analyst Bukati said it all. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know the reason for insecurities in the Country. None payment or delayed salaries, stealing money meant for security due to corruption, broken security infrastructures and complete lack of political will due to corruption. Tell me who wants to be a soldier when your pay is not guaranteed or barely enough and you don't have enough munition for your gun. Our terrorist is our government.

The Tinubu administration needs to transfer more power to the states and local governments to reduce the pressure at the center. That will be the best gift of democracy for the people. Also, the Federal exclusive list must be reviewed to allow the states to operate better.
