So if a 1 million is added in docking cost, that will be added to the cost of goods transported into the US. Who pays that cost, just like tarrifs the US consumer. Who are the suckers and losers, Trumps voters and the rest of the US population. Bravo
America cannot even keep up with renewing its own navy fleet of ships and submarines.
The US and Europe like to focus more on office and finance while China focuses on manufacturing.
Well, when the bankers crashed the market in 2008, who bailed them out? These bankers are no different from Chinese government.
USA has only 12 Ships against 4.000 from China.. Yeah, my buddies in China are laughing hard right now,,,, me too LOL
I hope Mr Musk is informed that In August 2024, RTX was fined US$200 million for International Traffic in Arms Regulations violations, including exchanging data and products with prohibited countries such as China. Raytheon says they are "a leader in command and control systems, combining sensors and advanced networks to expand situational awareness across the maritime battlespace," but I find it unnerving that they would ever have exchanged data with prohibited countries (China).
China has a large economy
US:how dare you?
why would you need a ship if the global trade is turned down?
美国习惯了通过印制美元来购买商品,这比自己生产更加省事,不是吗?
1000% tariffs on everything Chinese
So America is crying over this😂😂
I am curious about Japan shipbuilding areas also
Cheap ships built by China. Expensive advanced ships built by S Korea
I'm still not fully understanding why it seems inevitable for shipbuilding to return to the States. And as major corporations continue outsourcing customer service to other countries, does this mean we risk losing control over that sector in the future as well?
It doesn't matter who makes the ships. It matters who owns the ships. We should absolutely move US ship building to Korea and Japan for our strategic ships. There is no chance that we will be building commercial ships.
What kind of timeline are we living in?
USA when they try to export themself and all logistics will strike
بح : المووضع مش تبعكو خلاص العالم اعتمد عليهم ومش هيقدؤو يغيرو وانتو مش هتقدرو توفور البديل انتو الي هتتعزلو
A Zellenial wants a job building a ship about as much as I want to run a Minecraft server. Not at all.
Yeah but they depend on American steel
Now they have to pay those tariffs if they want it
And to think, it all began one fine Spring day at Lee Kee shipyards…
Excited for when you start your training program!
usa is finished, capitalism has failed, the amerikkkan obsession with China 🇨🇳 is simply borne out of jealousy.
blaming china 🇨🇳 for your own failures
We all need ships
Korea and Japan are competing hard against China…..China will not dominate in Asia- that's for sure. Korea/Indonesia/India/Japan/Iran/Israel/Saudi will make sure of that
Chinas success comes from the “mind your own business” policy. China is friends with all the right people and doesn’t look to make trouble with them. While China strives for efficiency others solely are motivated to stifle china instead of making themselves competitive. Also senseless endless wars tend to drain the bank
China is working hard. Whats the problem with US?
US is jealous of china😅
Do you think US will offer to buy the now no longer in use ships off them at the low low price?
