So the only solution is to either make inferior products with inferior materials?
Or to disguard the manufacturing of certain items or products depending on the price of raw materials?.
An excellent example of this is royal navy warships! Or BRITISH ARMY'S requirements for armour!
All of the above, requires premium steel? Raw virgin steel! Which can only be manufactured by the use of blast furnaces? Ark furnaces are of little use to produce quality higher grade steel?
So unfortunately we have to bye our higher grade steels from countries that have & use blast furnaces?
Which for our purpose would be either INDIA or CHINA? as the UK no longer have the ability to make high grade virgin steel !
So if we bye steel from either of these countries we will most certainly have to paye premium prices for it?
( BUT HERE'S THE KICKER WHAT IF FOR SOME REASON THESE COUNTRIES REFUSE TO SELL US THE STEEL WE NEED? THUS RENDERING OUR MILITARY REDUNDANT)?.
