If you all think we don't have a special deal, why dont we ask for a deal like he has given to the EU? WOULD THAT SUIT YOU ALL????😅
Services? Bankers
A relationship so special only the British are aware of it.
I always thought special relationship was a polite fiction to stroke the USA ego during diplomatic interactions. We were paying for special ‘aid’ during ww2 until something like 2006, not all that special if you ask me.
I think cars are still at 25%
The 'services' are money laundering services the London Square Mile.
The "special relationship" has never been anything more than a figment of the English imagination.
None of this logic matters! It's just the cover story Trump cooked up to allow him to crash the markets! Let's talk about insider trading and jail time shall we?
The special relationship was between bush and Blair. That's the only time "special relationship" applied so why do people keep saying this dead phrase
Actually, our deal is terrible. We’re getting tariffed for having a trade deficit with the US. At least those getting tariffed higher actually have a surplus – except no, they’re not even getting tariffed any higher now, because, as of today, the only thing that counts is whether or not you are China!!!
Well, that “Brexit Benefit” lasted all of 48 hours.
Who knows what tomorrow’s tariff criteria will be. It’s all part of Trump’s master plan. Who knows what he’ll do next? Certainly he doesn’t. Genius.
So 66% of the UK's exports to the USA are services and 33% are goods.
For the EU it's 61% of its exports to the USA are goods and 39% services.
You can’t have a “special relationship” with a box of rocks
Starmer and Lammy both bad mouthed Trump like the virtue signalling fools they are.No diplomacy, not fit to rule.
Is there any proof that we have a “special” relationship that we benefit from? seems the Americans are always the ones who gain from it whilst we follow their lead.
