America needs to bring back industry thru isolation. We don't care about higher prices as long as industry is thriving. Isolation will also lessen our dependency on the global supply chain and lost IP. American businesses can continue to operate in the global markets and exist as separate entities. Build in America for Americans, while continuing to build elsewhere for external markets. If we do want to continue rebuilding the world, like we did post WWII, we should focus on stabilising The Americas. That would solve the migrant issues. Plus we could influence those neighbours to lock external factors out. We only need a handful of partners across the globe, and shut off foreign aid and relations.

Trump made billions in the stock market these past few days. Fearing suspicion of market manipulation, he’s using China to divert attention.

There are a lot of Chinese billionaires that have invested in America
Lots of old politics of Washington DC was taking the Chinese briefcase money over American citizens

That's rich (pun intended). Billionaires and corporations have been ripping off our country with republican tax breaks and overseas shell companies to avoid taxes.

The real problem is you have to START with education. The United States workforce is simply not prepared to manufacture more than they do. This is because people who knew how to make things begin retiring in the 1980s and now there’s nobody left to train anyone who would want to become a manufacturer.
If America were to begin manufacturing again, it would need a cold-reboot from basically nothing
